4th Qtr FAL 2016

Well this could be the last time
This could be the last time
Maybe the last time
I don't know. Oh no.

With thanks to The Rolling Stones, they can say it better than me. This will be the last time, maybe the last time, I will inflict photos of the #behemoth, aka Coulter Wedding Quilt, on you. I don't know.

I am showing these photos again because its time to celebrate. It is the end of the last quarter of the Finish A Long in 2016. For the unknowing this happens four times a year. Each quarter we sign up our intention to finish up our works in process, wip,  my Qtr 3 FAL link is here Some lists are very long, some lists short and concise. At the end of the quarter we post our progress and walk the walk of shame.

And did I mention there are great prizes up for grabs?

And this quarter I have a 100% success record!!!! Can I have a whoop whoop please? I only listed the #behemoth last quarter. This was to stop any more unnecessary self imposed pressure, I needed and wanted to finish this by year end. And so here is my final list for the 4th Qtr FAL 2016.

1. #behemoth, the quilt formerly known as the #coulterweddingquilt, previously linked up here

And before we leave this, some more photos of us trying unsuccessfully to artistically drape the quilt over a rock in the wind on the County Antrim coast.

Thank you to everybody for the encouragement to finish this, it was fun and thankfully the happy couple are delighted.

  5. If you keep showing, I will keep looking! I will forever be in love with this quilt. You did a fabulous job from start to finish and should still be patting yourself on the back.
